| We all been swarmed one time or another, or even been on the other side of the stick. Today we'll talk about how they work and how to counter. In the end, there's some lil fun facts.
Basics: - Funnels are usually weapon 3 - Funnels only reload when all funnels are fired - Funnel Up Skill decrease reload time, increase funnel base damage and special damage
Mechanics/Rules: - Funnels are homing, meaning they'll follow and shoot any target until its either destroyed or duration time ends - Funnels all dealt beam damage, meaning I field - Funnels follow a specific path around the target, most of the time attempt to shoot from behind - Funnels ignore invisibility and fade skill as long as target already been targeted beforehand - Funnel contain their own hp, but when hits wall, instant self destruct
Counter: - Vulcan, beam rifle, and beam cannon can easily destroy funnels. Vulcan is easiest to aim while beam cannon just covers a huge range and rifle is accuracy - If can't be shot *For Open Map: Stand next to a wall, hopefully 3 sided. When you do, stand facing outward so you're not facing the wall. (Destroys faster due to 2nd mechanic rule) *For Closed Map: Hide inside tunnels and structures *If above 2 can't be done, look for 1 small structures and go circles around it. (ice map, lil walls work wonders)
Misc Facts - When funnels first came out, they got stun and impossible to destroy - Funnels shoots 1 beam at a time while dragoons (Seed Funnels) shots multiple. - Funnels if too many can run into themselves while dragoons won't. (Seed is superior after all =p) | |

| You forgot something. If you get far away enough from the user, the funnels will retreat. | |

| never happened to me, but maybe cuz i never just fire funnels and go in the opposite direction. | |

| Same here. of course, the Gunbarrel Dagger isn't exactly designed for melee anyways. | |

| is it possible to slash funnels ?because isaw an exia in KR SDGO do it but he didnt slash thefunnels on him..he was slashing the funnels on his partner | |

| You could always use a newtype pressure if you really hate those funnels. | |

| but it gets expensive... its better to have that item slot open for invis or self tele. | |

| Every funnel can be shot down, including Nu HWS.
The only funnel that can't crash into walls is Nu HWS'. | |

| Playing a funnel unit is frustrating for me.. the time is takes to fire 6 of them on a target takes about 3-4 seconds when others can do it in about 1. (the only time I can do it in 1s is in training room) I assume this is due to me connecting from the UK, even though I don't have lag issues I guess there's a delay on things like funnels. | |
